As an active entity in the field of information technology, collaborating with a grassroots support organization in the area of diabetes has provided an opportunity to closely familiarize team members with the significant knowledge gap in diabetes and its prevention and management methods among the target audience, as well as the lack of appropriate services for patients.

Team members, who have close relatives with diabetes, have firsthand and indirect involvement with the challenges and complications of diabetes in these individuals during the formation of the diabetes support idea. Furthermore, during this period, we have become acquainted with institutions and organizations that have been established to serve diabetes patients but face difficulties in reaching the diabetic community in need of these services.

The existing conditions in the country, as well as similar conditions in neighboring countries with cultural and geographical proximity to Iran, have motivated us to shape the diabetes support idea and make efforts to facilitate two-way communication between service recipients and providers in the diabetes field, utilizing available capacities.
